"Elegant, refined, and long, the 2021 Pinot Noir Tualatin Estate Vineyard pours a medium ruby hue and is lifted and pure, with notes of blood orange, dusty earth, bright raspberry fruit, and fresh flowers. Medium-bodied and refined, with an elegant tannin structure, it has wonderful density of fruit but remains weightless, with a linear feel and a touch of dried porcini on the finish. It’s a beautiful wine with great length to drink over the next 10-15 years."

"Intense and concentrated Pinot Noir from Lavinea's Tualatin Estate planted on its own roots in 1974. This newly formed AVA's soils have iron deposits over classic Willamette Jory clay. This Pinot comes chock full of aromatics, gunflint and savoury chicory root and is backed by purple floral elegance and a note of white pepper spice. The palate is elegance and intensity combined. Fleshy red berries and smoky elements of clove and frankincense come together delightfully with briny notes of smoked sea salt. The structure nods at this wine's ageability, and the finish rewards those with less patience as it becomes glorious now."

"The 2021 Pinot Noir Tualatin Estate is more savory than sweet, with a vivid whiff of rose petals giving way to black raspberries infused by incense and exotic spice depths. This is round and voluptuous yet beautifully balanced. Zesty citrus spikes crunchy red berry fruits and saline mineral tones, building a steady tension toward the close. This finishes potent and long, staining the palate with tart wild berries as a residual bump of acidity provides amazing freshness. The Tualatin Estate is structured yet full of energy."
Winemaker Notes:
"Bright ruby-red. A bouquet of candied rose petal, blood orange and black tea give way to juicy red berries. Red fruits dominate the front palate, while plum and black cherry linger in the finish. Structured and energetic with elegant tannins framing a bounty of fruit to a long, leisurely finish. Quite beautiful today."
