"The 2021 Meursault Rouge has an attractive, well-defined bouquet with wild brambly red fruit, touches of orange rind and 5-spice. Quite complex considering this is Village Cru and maybe more refined than the Auxey-Duresses. The palate is medium-bodied and well-balanced with fine tannins. It is strict and linear, not long, but with plenty of freshness, so it feels long on the finish."
