"The cork label on this bottle is a reminder that the Alentejo is the source of much of the world's cork supplies. It places the wine firmly in the region, as does the rich generous texture and fine ripe fruitiness. Tannins are there, dusty and with a dry edge, supporting the black fruits, ripe berry flavors and acidity. Drink now." 

Winemaker Notes: 

"Clear aspect and ruby color with red nuances.  The aroma is fine and elegant with notes of black fruits, jam and white chocolate.  The flavor is soft, with a slight astringency, and balanced. Tannins are fruity, soft and structured. Elegant finish."
