"Aromas of stewed black currant, smoke, soy, charred toast and caramel show on the rich nose of this bottling. It's soft and smooth on the palate, where a cassis flavor mixes into a lavender tone, all framed in firm tannins." 

Winemaker Notes: 

"After aging in French and American barrels for 24 months, this wine reveals ripe flavors of black plum and currant with accents of vanilla and dark chocolate. Structured tannins provide texture and depth with a lengthy finish. Enjoy the darkness!"
