"The NV Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs Les Vignes de Montgueux is a pure Chardonnay from Montgueux with base wines from 2019 to 2021.  Lemon, chalk and a distant notion of gingerbread on the nose lead onto a palate that brims with lemony brightens with a more definite, muscular touch of tar.  A bright saltiness pervades the wine, lending it a sense of sitting upright, keeping poise and tension with its lovely Chardonnay that plays exquisitely between light and shade, between lemon brightness and black tar.  Wonderful contrast."

"Pale straw color in the glass with lovely mineral, dried fruit and citrus zest aromatics that reflect the purest expression of the Montgueux terroir. The palate is vibrant with crisp citrus and melon flavors, backed by bright acidity & minerality. The finish lingers with citrus notes."
