"The Bodkin Sparkling Sauvignon is back with a twist. This limited edition high-carbonation level bottling is fresh and refreshing with bubbles for days - 35% more fizz than the previous bottling to be precise. While the label and package are brand new, the wine inside is still the same refreshing departure from the mundanity of not-so-aromatic sparkling wines. With overtones of pineapple guava and lemon-lime this wine is a bright, fruit forward and as Sauvignon Blanc-y as ever. The palate matches the nose. This Cuvée is a blend of two Sauvignon Blanc Vineyards from Lake County – 72% from Sandy Bend Vineyard in Upper Lake and 28% from HRSV Vineyard, also in Upper Lake. Both vineyards are farmed to California Sustainable Winegrowing Alliance standards and family owned and operated. 349 cases produced."
