"This wine is a tip of the cap to Charles Coury, the man who planted these Sémillon vines nearly 60 years ago. It smells like Golden Delicious apples, pear and ginger, with a wee bit of talc and honeycomb. It possesses brisk acidity to accompany intense flavors like cardamom, lemon sorbet and a cup of genmaicha (or “popcorn tea”)."

"The versatility of Semillon is what makes it such a pleasure to work with. The exploration of these old vines continues. The 2021 version was a special vintage, so much so, that it is only the second time that we made an ‘Ode to Chuck’. This is essentially our reserve."
