"Saturated blueberry, blackberry and licorice aromas waft from the glass of this deeply colored Carignan. The palate has incredibly pleasing plushness and balance between the acidity and tannin, with flavors of cherry liqueur, fresh purple flowers, salted caramel and black pepper."

"This wine shows classic Carignane character, demonstrating why Carignane was a favorite amongst ‘old-timers’ here in Dry Creek Valley. The wine starts with red berry fruit backed by notes of vanilla and spice. The zesty berry flavors continue on the palate complemented by restrained tannins and a bright finish."
