"The 2020 Chardonnay Old Vine Bien Nacido Vineyard saw a similar élevage and was brought up in 25% new barrels. Its slightly deeper gold hue is followed by a masculine-styled, medium-bodied Chardonnay offering plenty of ripe orchard fruits, notes of toasted bread and honeyed minerality, good mid-palate depth, and a round, mouth-filling profile with tons to love. It's a bigger, richer wine compared to the Sta. Rita Hills release, with both wines showing the terroir beautifully." 

Winemaker Notes: 

"A truly classic and elegant nose, with yellow stone fruits, lemon chiffon and notes of flint and musk. On the palate this wine has a super silky texture with a plush mid palate balanced with just enough acidity on the backend for a true “mouth-gasm”. Notes of lemon curd, fresh baked croissant and a little white tea to round it all out. This lady is a stunner and in short, a subtle temptress. These 49 year old vines are not messing around and are true cellar gems. Could not be more pleased."
