Winemaker Notes: 

"Dark red with purple hues, the aromas of black currant, a hint of green bell pepper, and mixed berry compote (a fresh one, like Bonne Maman, not a super-overcooked and overripe kind) come to mind. On the palate, further pepperiness, fresh and juicy blackberries, and spices come to a pleasant conclusion. Tannins integrate well and encourage further drinking."
