"Boulard's NV Brut Nature Grand Cru Mailly-Champagne is another brilliant wine. Inward, tight and focused, the Grand Cru Mailly-Champagne is utterly compelling. Racy, refined and utterly impeccable from the very first taste, the wine impresses for its superb balance and total sense of harmony. Hints of almond paste, dried pears and flowers wrap around the cool, bracing finish. This is high-class juice. The Grand Cru Mailly-Champagne is 90% Pinot Meunier and 10% Champagne, mostly 2008, with 30% reserve wines from 2004 and 2007. This bottle was disgorged on September 3 2012, with no dosage."
