"Very light-bodied for a zinfandel, this is bright and fresh with juicy raspberries, cherries and red plums on vibrant acidity and moderate tannins. Picked early from vines planted in the 19th century and fermented with 50% whole clusters. Aged in neutral barrels. Drink now." 

Winemaker Notes: 

"This old vine Zinfandel has an earthy minerality and wonderful subtle fruits: strawberry, raspberry, plum, and quince. The wine has plush tannins and a long, soft finish — not the heavy or intense Zinfandel one could expect."
