"A totally classic Beaujolais, but this mind-blowing wine also redefines what Beaujolais can be. That starts with how it pulls the white rabbit of mind-blowing freshness and purity out of the hat in this very hot and dry vintage. The depth of the red fruit aromas is off the scale. Enormously concentrated but precise and filigreed, with an almost overwhelming minerality in the almost endless finish. From old vines in the Les Caves site of Moulin-a-Vent. Matured in used oak barrels from Burgundy for just under a year. Drink or hold."
