Winemaker Notes: 

"This full-bodied red wine is made with Nebbiolo grapes, hailing from the Valtellina. Vines of over 40 years in age produce this wine in Baja California, which is then aged for 14 months in French oak barrels. Its intense, spicy palate is superbly suited to steak dishes, while its aromas of ripe red and black fruits, figs, cherries, tea, roses, mint, chocolate, liquorice and truffles tantalize the nose. Complex flavors of deep fruit, earthy notes and touches of tobacco, leather and walnut complete the experience."
