"The 2022 Muscadet "Péninsula" Vieilles Vignes bottling from Domaine Gadais is truly and old vine cuvée, as these vines were planted all the way back in 1929! The 2022 version of Péninsula Vieilles Vignes is a brilliant young Muscadet, offering up a lovely combination of ripeness and precision in its aromatic constellation of breadfruit, raw almond, lemon, a lovely touch of leesy tones, a fine base of minerality, white flowers and a lovely touch of ocean breeze in the upper register. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied, focused and complex, with a superb core of old vine fruit, great mineral undertow, zesty acids and impeccable balance on the long, crisp and very, very classy finish. Great juice. (Drink between 2024-2050)"
