"This has long been one of my favourite Luneau Papin wines. The ripe but delicate 2020 has concentrated citric notes and is well balanced with a long complex finish. This is a lovely wine that should age brilliantly. Pierre and Monique Luneau have made Domaine Pierre Luneau Papin one of the very best Muscadet domaines. They showed that Muscadet could age remarkably. They have now retired and their son Pierre-Marie and his partner Marie are continuing the progression, making great value wines. The domaine is now biodynamic. Clos des Allées is a 2.5ha monopole with vines planted in 1974 on mica-schist. Drinking Window: 2022-2035."
