Rich and layered, with lovely up-front appeal, the 2022 edition is a fine choice for drinking now and over the next handful of years. Pear, kirsch, white flowers and mint are beautifully layered. This is an especially fine edition of the Val Vilaine, a Champagne that will give readers a very good look at Bouchard's distinctive style at a price that won't totally break the bank. No dosage.
