"The 2023er Ayler Riesling No. 3 is a fully off-dry wine (with 30 g/l of residual sugar) made from fruit picked in the front, east-facing part of the original Kupp hill, in the upper section near Stirn. It offers an attractive nose made of whipped cream, pear, ripe apple, citrusy elements, fine spices, and herbal elements. The wine proves creamy on the fruity-styled palate and leaves a joyful feel of creamy yet tart grapefruit puree in the finish." 

Winemaker Notes: 

"Another village level off-dry, this is sourced from various parcels on the “Grand Cru” Kupp – as such this is more the equivalent of “Senior,” in a Feinherb style. In other words, it is a “Grand Cru,” declassified and sold at village-level pricing. Most of the sites are east facing on the summit of the Kupp which gets the first rays of morning sun. This tends to be a bit deeper and broader-shouldered than the No. 4; it has more mineral complexity and more depth. The analytics are similar to the No. 4, so expect lightning bolts and some dizziness."
