"Cassis, peach and pink grapefruit laced with sage and mint inform the effusive nose and the glossy, lightly oily, almost buttery as well as slightly syrupy palate.  An earthy, slightly overripe note of muskmelon creeps in the mid palate, but animating citricity keeps things from turning outright sticky.  The finish is colorfully fruity and unabashedly sweet.  “Twenty fifteen,” noted Fauth, “was the last time we got concentration like this in Scheurebe yet without any botrytis.”  He thinks that this bottling will, for that reason, be especially long-lived."

"Scheurebe in all its exuberant glory – unabashedly sweet but holy hell, what a fun wine to drink. think strawberry peach lemonade with unmistakable limestone undercurrent."
