"The 2020 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Sous le Puits is another success, offering up aromas of citrus oil, crisp green apple, freshly baked bread and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and racy, it's pure and seamless, with lively acids and a long, penetrating finish. This old-vine parcel rarely suffers from hydric stress and has turned in a strong performance this year."

"Puligny-Montrachet Sous Le Puits Premier Cru has a limpid and brilliant appearance, with a buttery and spicy nose. The palate is well-rounded and voluptuous with a Meursault side to it, close to its terroir."
