"This wine from PYCM is among Burgundy's most outstanding values; oddly, it seems much of it goes to Asia, but this is worth seeking out. The 2022 has a complex nose of ripe pear, nectarine, exotic spices and a hint of smoky reduction. The texture is dense and rich — unsurprisingly, since the lieu-dit is just downslope from Bâtard-Montrachet. Colin farms 0.26 hectares in two parcels: the oldest has 80-year-old vines, while the other has been replanted. It is one of Burgundy's truly great 'village' wines."

"Here the expressive nose displays a phenolic note on the ripe aromas of mostly white orchard fruit, petrol and a hint of rosemary oil. There is fine richness and density to the bigger-bodied and more powerful flavors that exhibit fine length on the very dry but not really austere finale. This offers excellent quality for its level and is a wine that should also repay up to a decade of keeping. Also recommended."
Vinous, 89-91 Points
"The 2022 Chassagne-Montrachet Les Ancegnieres, which was not produced last year, has a relatively light, stony bouquet with hints of lemon thyme and broom. The palate is well-balanced with crisp acidity. It’s one of the spicier cuvees from the Domaine with a prolonged finish, though my overall feeling is that this will be one of the earlier drinking offerings this vintage."
