"Coming from the benchmark estate in Radda, the 2018 Montevertine is pure, elegant, and full of floral perfume, with candied red cherry, fresh pine, and roses. The palate is linear and finessed by super-fine tannins, with persistent energy through its stony mineral texture and a delicate saline touch. It captures beautifully the transparent and vibrant nature that can be achieved with Sangiovese. Drink 2026-2040."

"The 2018 Montevertine is fabulous. Bright and translucent in the glass, the 2018 is elegant and light on its feet like few, if any, vintages I can remember. Rose petal, mint, lavender and bright red/purplish berry fruit linger. The 2018 is one of the most refined, understated Montevertines ever. Silky, elegant and gracious, the 2018 is an absolute winner."
