"From 22-year-old vines, the transparent but bright red 2022 Pinot Noir Justice Vineyard is highly aromatic with notes of crushed cranberries, grapefruit, cinnamon, and fresh herbs. Appealing and refined, it’s medium-bodied, with ripe acidity, structured, ripe tannins, and a long feel with more present mineral underpinnings. It has a fantastic texture and is a great wine with a mouthwatering finish. Drink 2025-2040. 150 cases were produced."

"Sitting exposed on a ridgeline in the Eola-Amity appellation, the Justice Vineyard Pinot Noir is buffetted by the winds through the Van Duzer Corridor. These winds make Pinot Noir possible here, and their direct impact adds character and savoury depth to this bottling. Tingly aromatics of pine bough and piquant notes of blood orange introduce a wine of intense brilliance. Mint and dried wild herbs envelope wild green strawberries and tart wild currants. This wine has brilliance and a savoury edge and will undoubtedly transform beautifully over time."

"The 2022 Pinot Noir Justice Vineyard is understated, with hints of rosemary, red currants and balsamic spice.  It’s round and supple, with cooling acidity and ripe red berry fruits that swirl throughout.  This leaves a concentration of sweet wood spice and violet candies as youthful tension and edgy tannins linger.  Ken Pahlow laments that Justice is one of the few sites where he felt that they should have cropped back a little more on the fruit.  It’s a beautiful and textural Pinot that will provide a lot of upfront appeal."
