It was fermented with one-third whole clusters and spent 31 months in 41% new French oak. Sensational red and black fruits, graphite, sandalwood, pepper, and even some floral, exotic notes all give way to a full-bodied, incredibly concentrated, powerful red that has flawless tannins, a seamless, multi-dimensional mouthfeel, no hard edges, and a monster of a finish.
