"Harvested later than the Oakville Ranch release, the 2018 Grenache Rossi Ranch Vineyard is the same 93/7 Grenache and Mourvedre brought up in demi-muid and neutral barrels.  The vivid purple/ruby color is followed by a pure bouquet of black cherries, blackberries, ground black pepper, licorice, and earth.  Rich, full-bodied, and concentrated, it stays straight and focused on the palate, with beautiful concentration, ripe, polished tannins, and great finish.  This is certainly a more mineral, masculine style, but it stays pure and balanced."

"A Deux Tetes is a new collaboration between Rhône superstar Philippe Cambie and Sonoma grower, Phil Coturri. The focus is on comparing Grenache from both Napa and Sonoma, and the wines are made with plenty of assistance from Isabel Gassier."
