"At present this isn't quite as fresh as the Gruenchers though it's otherwise aromatically similar. By contrast, there is even better energy to the beautifully delineated flavors that flash more evident minerality on the wonderfully complex and lingering finish. As is usually the case, the mid-palate isn't quite as dense, but it compensates by being finer and more sophisticated plus the supporting tannins are a bit firmer. This too is really lovely juice.  Outstanding!"

"Wafting from the glass with notes of raspberries, violets, rose petals, spices and plums, Fourrier's 2019 Vougeot 1er Cru Les Petits Vougeot is medium to full-bodied, bright and vibrant, with a lively core of fruit, beautifully refined tannins and a perfumed, mouthwateringly saline finish."
