2022 Yves Boyer-Martenot Meursault Les Narvaux [BH89-92]

"A ripe yet airy nose is composed by notes of just sliced pear and apple while background nuances of petrol and wet stone can be discerned. The bigger-bodied and richer flavors possess a taut muscularity before culminating in a powerful and mouthcoating finish that is moderately austere. This beauty of a Narvaux offers a completely different texture compared to the Tillets because while it's not rustic, it flirts with it. Even so, there is much to like here and this is recommended, especially for those who enjoy aging their white burgundies."
