"Note: from a .55 ha holding; note that as of 2019, the vineyard was upgraded from Bourgogne to Marsannay; despite the upgrade, Bizot does not agree with the change and in his range, it remains labeled as a Bourgogne.  Here too the nose is firmly reduced and unreadable. By contrast, I like the freshness and verve to the superbly well-detailed and equally mineral-driven flavors that exude impressive power on the dusty, youthfully austere and strikingly long finish. While this is no longer a true Bourgogne, it's exceptional for its villages-level as well."
