"The 2022 Mercurey Village is a blend of two parcels planted in 1965 and 2017. This has a little more complexity than the Rully Rouge on the nose, a mixture of red and black fruit, hints of potpourri and brown spices. The palate is medium-bodied with white pepper-tinged red fruit, fine grip and a slightly savory finish. This is a charming, personality-filled Mercurey. Excellent."

"This vibrant Mercurey touts a pure black cherry and crushed violet-scented bouquet that blossoms in the glass. The palate is round and silky, giving additional notes of black cherry, blood orange, and white pepper. An energetic, long finish with exceptional balance and finesse."
