"Lovely floral notes on the initial attack lead to a light, fresh, accessible texture with refreshing acidity, yet there is a good bit of tannin on the finish. This wine will drink young, but there is enough structure here to stand up to food. It is produced from the Domaine Gagey holdings in the legendary Clos du Roy vineyard in Chenôve on the northern edge of Marsannay." 

Winemaker Notes: 

"Aromas of blue and black fruit tinged with damp earth are followed by a lush and expansive mouthfeel with soft tannins and mild supporting acidity. The finish is long with persistent hints of floral and mocha notes."
