"Two barrels which is a decent yield here. The colour is deeper and younger looking than Champonnets but the bouquet is much more reticent. There is a richer raspberry fruit as well on the palate, without escaping the style of the vintage. The ancient vines have played their part and deliver extra length. Cherbaudes will take longer than Champonnets to come round, but will ultimately deliver more. Drink from 2027-2033."
