"The 2020 Meursault Poruzots 1er Cru sported an attractive reduction on the nose. Plenty of energy here but unlike the Meursault-Blagny these aromatics will need time to open. The palate is very harmonious with a fine bead of acidity, taut and fresh with a lightly spiced, lemon thyme-tinged finish that lingers. Very This palpably zings with tension and life."

"Clear lemon and lime. Fractionally reductive but more to the point just plain backward. That’s for the nose, because in fact the palate opens out very nicely. Perfectly judged ripeness in soft white fruit but supported by a fine grip to finish, as the vineyard’s typical tannins kick in. Very persistent. Tasted: 11/1/2021." Large-scaled in the finish, never hard, long and mouth-watering, almost a little tannic finish – lovely here."
