Henry David Vineyards is a small, family-run, boutique winery started in 2017 by a husband and wife team.  After their retirement they decided to purchase a vineyard in Sonoma County, one of the world's most spectacular grape growing regions.  The name is a tribute to their fathers, both of whom were farmers.  They started just growing grapes and selling them to artisan winemakers to make award-winning wines, but soon realized with juice that good, they could make their own wines.  Henry David Vineyards produce wines that are vibrant, fresh, balanced and elegant.  The production is very small with limited quantities and all the grapes are hand-picked and farmed sustainably.  2019 is only their second ever vintage to be released.  The 2019 Henry David Vineyards Estate Grown Pinot Noir is phenomenal, luscious and absolutely unbelievable.  It has notes of ripe cherry, raspberry, tobacco leaf and a rich earthiness.  This Pinot is tantalizing and has a long, clean finish with a note of espresso.  Only 60 cases of this vintage were ever produced, so once it's gone, well it's gone.  Enjoy! 

Winemaker Notes: 

"Lift this glass to your nose and layers of aromas rise steadily. Dark cherry, raspberry, and some faint tobacco leaf framed by a rich earthiness, all find their way out of the glass with an occasional swirl. A taste reveals tantalizing ripe cherry, a mouth filling mid palate and long, clean finish with a nice note of espresso. Bottled in January 2020, this wine will continue to develop a depth of flavors over the years to come. Unfiltered and unfined, this truly represents the place it was grown....Henry David Vineyards."
