"From alluvial soils along the Danube River, the 2021 Loibner Grüner Veltliner is the lightest GV FX has produced this year. Vinified in stainless steel and bottled with 12% stated alcohol at the end of February, the wine offers a clear, bright, fresh and aromatic nose of ripe apples and pears intertwined with fine, terroir-driven spiciness. Lush, light and savory on the palate, this is an elegant, refined and very stimulating Veltliner with delicate and animating bitterness on the finish that is pretty intense given the moderate alcohol.
