"The 2020 Gewurztraminer Grand Cru Brand offers an intense and concentrated bouquet with candied lemon and lychee aromas intertwined with notes of crushed stones and lemon peels. Lush and piquant on the palate, with great intensity and beautiful bitters reminiscent of bitter oranges and kumquat on the finish, this is a rich, tensioned and vital Gewürz that belongs to the best I have had from granite soils. This is like a Sporen from granite soils. Stunning acidity here. This is nervous, vibrantly fresh and crystalline. Fabulous!"

"From a parcel of 40-year-old vines on granite soils, this is a deeply flavorful, complete and complex wine surrounding clean flavors of summer peaches. That lush fruit contrasts umami notes of geraniums and something sharp, like the aged chunk of Parmigiano-Reggiano that might accompany this wine."
