Cremant is the unsung hero of French sparkling wine.  It's produced using the same traditional method as Champagne but comes from other regions in France and for significantly less money than Champagne.  These are bubbles that could easily rival Champagne.  Cremant is beloved by wine professionals but flies under the radar for most consumers.  Cremant d'Alsace is the second most popular sparkling wine in France after Champagne.  It's the ultimate Champagne substitute with its lively citrus, golden apple flavors and creamy, rich mouthfeel.  Forbes called it "the French Sparkling wine you should be drinking more of" and went on to say it was "an underrated gem".  Known for its fine bubbles, fresh acidity and fruity notes, Cremant d'Alsace is everything you could want from a French bubbly.  Created in 1895, Cave de Ribeauville creates treasures from their terroirs.  They created this special labelling for a restaurant that can no longer take it, and so they are blowing this Cremant out at an incredibly low price.  This is a delicious, affordable alternative to Champagne at an absolutely unbeatable price.  The Cave de Ribeauville Les Comtes de Ribeauville Cremant d'Alsace Brut is a wonderfully fresh, fine, dry and racy wine.  The bubbles are delicate, fine and consistent.  It has a richer, fruitier edge with aromas of crisp apple and white flowers.  This Cremant has a refreshing, slender, almost creamy body.  It has crisp acidity and a lively, persistent finish.  It has notes of crisp apples, stone fruit, lively citrus, toasted vanilla spice, lemon peel, lime juice and white flowers.  Enjoy!

"A touch of stone fruit gives a richer fruitier edge to the apple notes on the nose. The palate is wonderfully fresh but majors on that fresh crisp apple aroma, helped along by lively citrus. The bubbles are fine and consistent on the refreshing, slender and almost creamy body—a wonderful apéritif style with a dry finish."
