"Purchased grapes, from the southern end above the main road. Mid purple. A light torrefaction alongside the raspberry fruit, medium fruit weight through the middle, not too much acidity but structured enough to hold well. Drink from 2029-2034. Tasted Nov 2024."

"The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny Village comes from five parcels from two different fruit sources. It has a very light bouquet with brambly red fruit and cassis scents. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and a little more sophistication than the aromatics suggest, with a composed and slightly peppery finish. Drink this over the next eight to ten years."

"Here too a mentholated top note can be found on the relatively high-toned and perfumed aromas of red currant, cherry and discreet spice wisps. There is good punch to the lightly stony and acceptably concentrated medium weight flavors that conclude in a dusty, compact and lingering finish where a touch of warmth slowly emerges."
