"Blackcurrants, blackberries, plum skins, cooking spices and dried herbs on the nose. Medium- to full-bodied, firm and structured, with chalky tannins and succulent fruit. Shows freshness and poise."
Winemaker Notes:
"2021 Forefathers Cabernet Sauvignon shows intense purple color. The aroma is a complete expression of our unique terrior. Stony schist soils mean the fruit is black cherry and plum. The palate is deep and concentrated with flavors of black cherry, dark stone fruit and subtle earthiness. Spending 50 days on the skins brings stability, yet silky and fine round tannins. It shows the classic elegance for which this wine is known."
