Distiller Notes: 
" From second-generation Oaxacan master mezcalera, Angelica Garcia Vasquez, comes Besos De Angelica. This certified mezcal crafted from wild-sourced Agave Karwinskii of the "cuishe" type is roasted in traditional underground ovens with volcanic stones and Encino (oak) wood. After crushing by stone mill and natural fermentation in wood tanks, the mosto is double distilled on wood-fired copper stills. This beautiful first-run Cuishe is exclusively bottled for the Besos de Angelica brand. Tasting notes from mezcal expert Anders Litzen. Drink this mezcal by itself to enjoy the complete and elegant flavors, maybe with some lighter dishes with some spice, like aguachile or ceviche." 

Tasting Notes:

Nose: "Starts with hints of smoke and citrus, kumquats, guava come to mind. Fresh clay, earth and hints of anis roll over your palate like a silk scarf."

Palate: "A very balanced, settled and elegant mezcal and gives violets, hints of spice, mesquite also comes to mind when tasting this Cuishe."
