Like staring into a deep dark pool, except that the pool is full of forest berries and, with every swirl of the glass, you see deeper into it, yet never reach the bottom. Staggering concentration and finesse on the expansive palate, the graceful tannins driving the mind-blowingly intense, almost endless finish. Drink or hold."

"A cool, restrained and beautifully layered nose combines notes of both red and dark raspberry with those of earth, floral and discreet spice wisps. The sleek, intense and overtly mineral-driven medium-bodied flavors also possess a beguiling texture on the sappy and youthfully austere but not rustic finale that exhibits excellent length. The Audoin Favières almost always ages well, and the 2020 version should be no exception. Drink to 2030+."
