"The 2019 Pinot Noir Sanford & Benedict Block 5 stands out for its aromatic presence and bright, red-toned fruit.  Bright acids and fine-grained tannins provide the backbone for a Pinot Noir that dazzles with its freshness and mineral-drenched intensity.  The 25% whole clusters lend further shades of complexity.  A vivid, translucent Pinot, the Block 5 delivers the goods, and then some."

"From clone 777 grown on a steep, north-facing slope, this bottling begins with toasted sage sticks, dried black cherry and cola on the nose, which manages to be both rich and fresh.
