2018 Pegaso Granito

"2016 was a cooler year in Gredos, and the 2016 Pegaso Granito shows the austere character of the granite soils like no vintage before. The color is a bright ruby, and the nose is a symphony of flowers, wild herbs and a twist of cold granite. The palate is equally expressive and elegant, with super fine tannins and an austere sensation that I like very much. This is the best vintage of Pegaso they have ever produced. Bravo!!" 

Winemaker Notes: 

"Complex aromas of mineral, Thai basil, black raspberry, and five-spice abound. At first tight and focused, this medium-structured red opens to ripe dark berries and a lively mid-palate."
