"I thought the 2012 Pinot Noir Little Hill was a dead-ringer for a grand cru Richebourg from France. It offers layers and layers of black raspberry and blackberry fruit intermixed with a subtle hint of toast, a full-bodied mouthfeel and a decadent, luxurious finish that goes on and on."

"Brilliant red. Mineral-accented red berry and cherry aromas are complicated by a spicy element and a suggestion of floral oils. Taut and sharply focused on entry, then broader and fleshier in the middle, offering sweet black raspberry and cherry liqueur flavors nicely lifted by tangy acidity. Shows very good concentration as well as vivacity and finishes spicy and long, with silky tannins folding quickly into the wine's fruit."
