"Plenty of crisp apple and green-bean character here, but also quite a bit more substance and structure than is normal for a regular Alto Adige pinot grigio. Surprisingly long and complex finish. From organically grown grapes with Fair'n Green certification. Drink now. Screw cap."

"Straw yellow color. Typical varietal bouquet, very full and rich. Amply structured, with a balanced and persistent taste. The Pinot Grigio is graced with lovely purity in its clean, focused fruit."

"The first wine co-operative created in Kaltern, Alto Adige, established in 1900, Erste e Neue now has some 500 growers contributing grapes from approximately 280 hectares of vineyards. From terraced vineyards that are situated around Lake Kaltern and on the plateau at the foot of the Mendel Mountain, the co-op's members produce premium wines from grapes grown in cru and top quality locations."
