"Don’t let the dainty floral presentation fool you. Certainly, the hue is light garnet, and the nose dominated by the scent of rose petals. However, there is depth, complexity, and a quiet power behind this pretty face of a wine. Like a raspberry tart, it is velvety soft yet mouthwatering and rich. The fine-grained tannins enmeshed in the pillowy texture lead to a remarkably stretched out finish, like echoes of Billie Holiday."
