Trecini is a small, boutique, family-owned winery.  The Vicini family started the winery in 2000 after a long restaurant career at The Villa in Santa Rosa.  Trecini is known for their multiple award-winning varietals from both Sonoma County and Italy.  Their wines are all food friendly and they believe that the wine speaks for itself.  Trecini is known for their varietal consistency from year to year.  Prosecco is the perfect pick for Valentine's Day.  It's elegant and pairs beautifully with food.  The refreshing, fruity and dry style offers delicious flavors and textures at a budget-friendly price point.  The Trecini Prosecco Extra Dry took home 92 Points and a Gold Medal from the Sunset International Wine Competition.  It also took home 97 Points and a Best of Class from the Sante International Wine Competition which is set up by restaurant professionals.  In addition, it also won a Best of Class Medal from local wine writer Dan Berger's wine competition.  The Trecini Prosecco Extra Dry is dry, crisp, and full bodied.  It has notes of pear, green apples, tropical fruits, vanilla, honeycomb and a touch of vanilla cream.  Just in time for Valentine's!

"Our Prosecco was made for us in Italy and is a wonderful addition to our family of imported wines. It's dry, crisp, and full bodied.  It has lively delicious pear and green apple aromas found with the Glera grape. The wine is aged in large tanks with minimal pressure giving it the lighter effervescent bubbles. Our Prosecco delights your palate with tropical fruits, vanilla, honeycomb, and a just a touch of vanilla cream."
