Distiller Notes: 

"Katsushika Hokusai’s masterpiece, “Thirty six views of mount Fuji”. In this classic artwork, the wondrous Mount Fuji is depicted with red-crowned cranes, native to Japan. We believe this iconic image matches the oriental taste of our Mizunara cask whisky. Along with a refreshing after taste, you can enjoy this classic image of Japan on our label."

Tasting Notes:  

"Aged in 53-gallon ex-bourbon barrels; finished in American white oak barrels with Mizunara oak heads.  The nose leads with aromas of cacao, cherry, toasted oats, and a bit of herbaceous eucalyptus; the palate is punchy on account of the whisky’s proof, with spicy ginger, underripe mango, and passion fruit riding a smoky, tannic backbone with white pepper and faint saffron on the finish." 

Nose: "fresh, floral aroma followed by sweet vanilla and baking spice, with a touch of creamy coconut." 

Palate: "A velvety mouthfeel with rich oak, cinnamon, ginger and a touch of chilli spice, balanced by toffee sweetness." 

Finish: "Smooth and silky caramel lingers alongside floral oak, tobacco and vanilla pod." 

Alcohol: 48%
