Distiller Notes: 

"San Matias Rey Sol is in a crystal decanter that is designed by famous Mexican Artist Sergio Bustamante. This tequila comes from the distillery that boasts having the first female owner and operator in the country. Rey Sol is full-bodied while balancing oak and sweetness that showcases the tequila within. This extra añejo imparts flavors like caramel, vanilla, and brown spices alongside the cooked agave. Smooth, with mild heat on the finish.  

It has an intense amber bright color with orange intense copper highlights. The aroma is of oak, chocolate, vanilla, hazelnut, roasted almonds, and dried fruit. The first taste is sweet with dominant oak notes. Then, it leaves a long lasting flavor of chocolate and almond. To be served in a Riedel glass for fine dining. Pair it with red meats and as a great accompaniment to be enjoyed with dessert and coffee."
