"Memorable wines are born in unique places and often made in small lots. Inspired by the great Crus of Burgundy and Chablis, my mission is to handcraft elegant, food-oriented and cellar-worthy Chardonnays from some of the finest, low-yielding vineyards in the cool micro-climate of the Sonoma Coast.

For Chardonnay, few places in California can compare to the Sonoma Coast. In the frugal coastal soils on the leeward sides of spectacularly rugged and mist-shrouded mountains, vines struggle - yielding small harvests of fruit with the prized vibrancy associated with Burgundy and Chablis."
