"A blend of four and five year old Bavarian hard wheat whiskies distilled in 2010 and 2011. This release was aged in new and used bourbon barrels, used cognac barrels, and used port barrels. The flavor profile is profound and very complex."
Tasting Notes:
Nose: "Bananas, pie crust, lemon heads, baking spice baking soda, citrus, coffee, cocoa and light bits of tropical fruit leather."
Palate: "Bananas, tropical fruit, pie crust, coffee, caramel, saw dust, baking spice, cocoa, brittle and a light bit of citrus."
Finish: "Long notes of candied citrus, coffee, cocoa, fruit and spice slowly fade out."
